I am so excited to be your new AAFSB President. I got involved in Ad Fed while at Louisiana Tech University as an entrant and winner in the ADDY Awards. It was such a thrilling experience, and it was then that I began to realize Ad Fed’s reach.
After graduating, I began working at Romph & Pou Agency and attended an Ad Fed luncheon where I asked how I could help. I’ve been involved ever since, serving on the ADDY committee, as Public Service Chair and two years as 1st VP and ADDY Chair. As Executive Designer at Romph & Pou Agency, I bring six years of design experience along with knowledge I have gained from attending multiple district conventions and events.
As an organization we strive to be the “unifying voice for advertising.” It is important to us that we represent the wide variety of jobs and people in our industry. With that in mind, we have a ton of great events planned this year to help connect us all including our Power Lunch and Ads After Dark events, a Diversity Panel, and, of course, the ADDY Awards. We are also very excited to bring the District 10 convention, Advent10n, here in April 2019.
Does this sound like fun? I invite you to get involved. We welcome anyone and everyone to join us. Get ready for a great year, and thank you for being part of AAFSB.
