About AAFSB.

Who We Are

Advancing
Advertising in
Northwest
Louisiana.

Since 1937, the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier — formerly the Shreveport-Bossier Advertising Federation — has been dedicated to serving its members by promoting, protecting, and advancing the broad interests of advertising, including the freedom to truthfully advertise legal products.

We are the professional association for advertising, marketing, and creative professionals in Northwest Louisiana and East Texas, and the local chapter of the AAF — the largest advertising trade association in the United States, headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Our mission is to serve, uplift, and advance the local advertising, marketing, and creative industries by providing meaningful programming, advocacy, and professional development opportunities — while unifying the voices of advertising across the Shreveport-Bossier region.

Whether you are a seasoned creative director, a brand strategist, a media buyer, a digital marketer, or a student just starting your career — this federation exists to support you, challenge you, and connect you to the community of professionals shaping this region's creative future.

Networking

Monthly events — Power Lunches, Ads After Dark, Agency Crawls — connecting you with the region's top advertising and marketing professionals year-round.

Advocacy

A unified voice for the advertising profession — promoting ethical standards, professional development, and the value of advertising to the business community.

Scholarship

Supporting the next generation of creative leaders through student scholarships funded by our AAA Awards program and community sponsors.

AAA Awards

Regional recognition for creative excellence. The American Advertising Awards are advertising's largest competition — AAFSB hosts the local tier, sending the best work in Shreveport-Bossier to compete nationally.

Our Purpose

"To serve, uplift, and advance the advertising industry — while unifying the voices of advertising."
